Tyretalk Safety CIC delivers specialist tyre, vehicle dynamics and ADAS education for Motor Vehicle and Automotive Engineering students in Further and Higher Education.
The sessions are designed to complement existing automotive programmes by bringing real-world industry experience into the classroom and helping learners understand not simply how to inspect a tyre, but how tyre choice, condition, position and performance can affect the behaviour and safety of the entire vehicle.
More Than Tyre Inspection
Tyres can receive relatively limited attention within wider automotive programmes, despite their fundamental importance to vehicle behaviour and modern safety systems.
A Tyretalk session goes beyond tread depths, pressures and basic tyre markings.
Students explore the relationship between tyres, available grip, vehicle dynamics and electronic safety systems, helping them understand the consequences that workshop decisions and tyre advice can ultimately have for the motorist.

Ryan's background combines more than 12 years of tyre-industry technical training with extensive experience in vehicle dynamics, driver development and automotive training.

Specialist Education Rate
£250 + travel
Tyretalk Safety CIC is a Community Interest Company established to improve tyre and vehicle-safety knowledge.
Recognising the financial pressures currently faced by education providers, a dedicated Specialist Education Rate of £250 + travel is available to FE, HE and recognised automotive training providers.
A typical specialist automotive session lasts approximately 2–2.5 hours, with content tailored where appropriate to the students attending.
More than one group?
Where timetabling allows, an additional student session can be delivered during the same visit at a reduced rate.
